How about an explanation of the "thingys" within the forums -
red dots after a name - green dots after a name -various colored blocks under the names...
I'm sure they are other "thingys" I have not yet encountered....
Then again - it does not take a lot to either entertain or confuse me.

Dennis, Good question. The red/green dot next to your username shows other users if you are currently online or not (green = yes, red = no).
Our forum uses a ranking system based on teh number of posts a user makes. The yellow squares indicate your rank on the forum based on your contributions.

Thats funny. I didn't put a ton of thought into the rank names. I think it was like 2:00am and I'm staring at the forum setup screen to set things up and this is all I could come up with.
Completely open to more ideas on rank names. Although I do like "newbie" and "not a newbie"

Rank and Status -
Almost reminds me of the Old Guard Walley Bangers Caravanishing Club Officer Ascension hierarchy.
OK with me....
....but I DO want my qualifications listed - check out my signature for steps I've executed in my ambition toward completing attainment of the coveted "Not A Newbie" social class.
Does anyone have a "tongue in cheek" emoticon which Steven could add to the list?

I'm not sure you're qualified for a black water dump yet. You have that fancy push button thingy on your rig...hardly a "true" black water dump ;) |

re my "fancy pushbutton thingy"....
Oh, Steven, the tales I could tell -
The Jabsco macerator pump on the sewerage discharge is currently plugged up with things I shudder to describe....
Before I figured out the pump was inop I blew several fuses - fuses which required me being totally under the MoHo to change - too close to the sh!tter dump for sanitary and olfactory comfort.
Good point for anyone doing a mod on their MoHo's - ALWAYS make the electricals - especially the fuses - easily accessible.
Long story short - with a full tank of "black stuff" and the requirement to dump by using only hoses and connectors at least 10 years old I was reminded a multitude of times how much leaking, spraying, and douching can occur with only two feet of head.
The ensuing events could best be accurately described as a learning experience akin to that of actor Robin Williams in his (in)famous scenes involving dumping the black water of his rental slab side in the movie "RV".
I was not a happy person.

I was goofing off and had to run before I finished.
Was just fun ideas for your rating as your post numbers went up, your 'camper' quality went up too.
Cannot think of top of the line would be...
Like before factory jobs were available.
What could be better than a converted school bus to the kids in a campground in the 60s ?
Greyhound?
