We were traveling in no man's land on the back roads of PA today, and I noticed an old motor home parked in a field on a farm, and surrounded by weeds, that had DODGE in big letters on the front. The body looked somewhat aerodynamic. I have done some searching around on the web and it appears that I may have sighted an old Dodge Frank motorhome? From what I have found, it sounds like these were made under the Dodge name for only a couple years before the company was sold and took on the name Travco.
Are there people out there who would be interested in acquiring this motor home? It sounds kind of rare, so if I can confirm there is a following out there that would be willing to pay a good buck for it, I may go back and ask the owner if he's interested in selling it. |
