    Just a post here to acknowlege the GMC's out there. My next door neighbor has a 1976 GMC Palm Beach, 26' I believe, that he has owned since 1977. He has been an invaluable help to me with my Airstream. We have 3 or 4 vintage rally's (we go camping together :D) every summer!

    We planned to move up to a GMC when the Class C wore out.
    Had been looking the last 3 years at them.
    Liked the Front wheel drive as being familar with the Caddy Eldorados.

    Last summer was 'it' for the C, too much time fixing junk, that was going to still be junk when I finished.

    Started looking and found the Airstreams.
    Either would have been better.

    Dang...this forum post menu changes daily!

    Rick,
    I want to get in on that micro rally this Spring.

    See if you can convince him to join our site....we're in need of some "non-airstream" motorhomers around here...
