I wish I had pics.. but don't right now. Looking for info and seeing if it worth saving this piece of history. It is either a Dodge or GMC (can't remember which) step van, like used as milk trucks and such. The original color seems to be about the blue color of this forum, but it was repainted a different blue that is peeling. The front split windshield is angled out, then angled back in with two more small windows, kind of like some of the large buses. It is built on a 1-ton or better chassis, but is short like a postal van in length. To me it doesn't look like there ever was a rear door, it was just paneled in. There is a single door, like a travel trailers door on the passanger side where the seat is. There is a fold-up jump seat so you can climb through to the interior. The interior has wood paneling like regular motorhomes and has all the amenities. It has water tanks underneath, and a vent box on top along with a very old looking plastic and copper antenna. Everything about it screams 1960s to me, so either someone made it into a motorhome very early in its life and did a good job, or it was a factory made motorhome, which is the way I am leaning to. Kind of like the "Mark III"s of today, Anyways, it has been sitting for about 15 years and would need a total restoration.

It sure has character.  In my way of thinking it would be a wonderful project for someone a lot younger than I am with a lot of extra time and money. May I add single here also. If I even had a slight thought of something like that, my divorce costs would put an end to it.

If not a MH you could make a fortune selling ice cream on a hot afternoon in the summer and hot dogs with fries in the spring and fall.

I love the looks of it  because it brings back so many memories of my lost youth. It probably was one step after the horse drawn milk cart.

I think I would pass on that one but it is a interesting mod for sure!! I wonder if it had teh 318 V-8 or the 225 slant six?? Auto or stick??
